THE OPPORTUNITY
One of Ottawa's most established architectural firms (two dozen employees and growing) seeks an OAA licensed Architect experienced in institutional (university and school) and office projects.They also do projects requiring federal clearance. They are a traditional firm that believes in daily face to face collaboration and ongoing professional development with regular lunch and learns.They seek a technically OAA Architect with 2+ years leading teams that enjoys working alongside others while giving and receiving memtorship.Leadership believes in generous bonuses when the firm does well.

WHAT THEY NEED
• Someone with a Master's or Bachelor's of Architecture; 5-10 years post-graduate experience; preference to fully OAA licensed architects 
• Candidate strong in both Revit & AutoCAD with a track record of leading a team of architects, interns & technologists across all stages of projects: programming, schematic design, design development, construction documents & contract administration
• A technically focused Architect; building science and value engineering centric; functional designs that consider post construction operational costs
• Candidates with a portfolio of schools, corporate offices, dealerships, distribution centers, manufacturing plants; moderate size new build projects in $5-15M range 
• Experienced juggling multiple projects; mentoring others, overseeing production drawings, being front facing with the client and focused on value-engineering
