Stock Handler

Position Summary

Reporting to the Customer Service/ Materials Supervisor, the successful candidate will be required to load, unload and move products and materials by hand or using basic material handling equipment. This position is based at Skyjack Kitchener location

Performance Expectations

• Filling Customer orders neatly and accurately
• Meet daily performance targets and goals
• Communicate with Supervisor about inventory and warehouse related issues.
• Perform other material handling activities such as counting, weighing, sorting, packing and unpacking.
• Ability to follow all Safety and 5S protocols
• completing all shipping/receiving documentation, physical inventory counts, auditing and reporting.
• Keep all shipping/receiving areas clean & organized.
• May perform other activities, such as opening containers and crates, filling customer pick up orders, assisting in taking inventory and weighing and checking materials.
• Perform other duties/projects as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum of Grade 12 education
• Above average communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Ability to plan and multi-task.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Word
• Plan workdays in conjunction with supervisor and have flexibility to adjust plans according to customer orders.

• Continuously learn on the job.
