Job Description
Under the supervision of the management team and in collaboration with the department managers, the incumbent will be responsible for the store systems. Using the tools provided by the Sobeys Group and the systems used in the store, he/she will be able to analyze, plan and prepare orders for all departments in the store. Tasks and responsibilities
- Responsible for the maintenance of the ordering system
- Management of product display parameters (minimum and maximum order, as well as display entry);
- Manage product status (activated, discontinued, not available);
- Assists department managers in placing their orders;
- Work hands on with the marketing manager;
- Follow up on the store's losses using our production system;
- Help managers maximize their sales while minimizing losses;
- Responsible for the margins of the products sold;
- Analyze costs, sales and margins to maximize profits;
- Assist managers in taking end of period inventory.
Qualifications
- High school diploma, college diploma or equivalent;
- Experience in retail and or any other experience with inventory management is a good asset;
- Mastery of basic mathematical equations;
- Be autonomous, dynamic and have excellent organizational and planning skills;
- Good teamwork skills and ability to communicate effectively.
