Window and Door Installer
Description
We are currently looking for window and door installers to join our team servicing Southern Ontario. We are looking for a hardworking and dependable candidates. You will take measurements for job orders and install or replace windows in both residential and commercial buildings. We expect you to have a valid driver’s license and be responsible for a company service vehicle. Every member of our team must maintain a safe and clean workspace and work within the guidelines of the Ministry of Labour.
Responsibilities
- Take the necessary measurements for product orders
- Ensuring preparation of installation sites and equipments
- Install doors, patio doors and windows
- Perform interior and exterior finishing of installations
- Assuring cleanliness and safety on sites
- Other duties as assigned outside of this job description
Qualifications
- Carpentry skills
- Ability to work with power tools and good manual skills
- Relevant experience in construction or renovation, preferably in the installation of windows and doors
- Rigour and precision to install with the company standards
- Physical stamina and manual dexterity, physical capacities to lift heavy product
- Examine and test products to ensure proper functioning
- Valid driver’s license (no special class required)
- Ability to interact professionally with the customers
- Initiative, good learning skills and team spirit
- Brake experience is an asset
- High school diploma or GED certificate an asset
- Completion of an apprenticeship or similar training an asset
- Sawdac Window Wise Certification an asset
