Job description
Our client, a leading company in their industry is looking to hire an Assistant Controller. This role will report to a CFO and be responsible for the Markham facility as well as have insights into the financial operations of another location. In this role, you will be a key player with respect to financial reporting, internal control, budgeting and operational data activities.
The main responsibilities for this role include the following;
- Monthly consolidation
- Month end closing
- Quarter end and year end related reporting for both locations
- Manage one staff
To be considered for this role, our client is looking for someone with the following skills/qualifications;
- 8+ years experience in a similar role
- CPA or near completion
- Manufacturing experience
- Strong with systems and tools like MS Excel, SQL
***This role is hybrid requiring 3 days in office
