Job description
Our client in Stratford, ON is looking to add a hands-on and self-directed IT Manager to their team. This role is an on-site role in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities: (Not limited to)
- Oversee deployment, maintenance, and support of IT systems, including hardware, software, and telecommunications
- Lead operational and strategic planning for IT department
- Assess IT infrastructure and provide recommendations for improvement
- Support end-users
- Mentor and coach an IT team of 3-4 IT Technicians
- Oversee purchasing and budgeting for IT spending, undertaking in cost-benefit analyses
- Manage vendors, consultants, and outsourcers
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in a senior IT position from manufacturing
- 2 years of supervisory experience
- Postsecondary education pertaining to information systems management
- Microsoft or Cisco certification is an asset
- Must be willing to work on-site
- Willingness to perform after-hours support, on a rotating basis
