Join a market leader with over $1B in revenue that offers significant scope for growth. We are recruiting on behalf of company with operations across 5 continents, their global head office is located in the North of Toronto with direct access to TTC and major highways.
The Company is seeking a progressive Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA-CA or CPA) that qualified at a major public accounting firm with strong IFRS technical knowledge.
Key responsibilities and oversight:
• Project lead the effective delivery of quarterly and annual financial deliverables
• Identify opportunities to improve/innovate financial reporting processes and procedures
• Ensure smooth and efficient integration of acquisitions from a financial reporting perspective
• Lead the process of identifying and implementing a new consolidation software
• Partner with BU CFOs to offer advice/information on financial reporting related issues
• Participate in and contribute to ongoing special projects and initiatives
The Company is offering a highly competitive compensation package including an attractive base salary and performance bonus, RSP matching. Full remuneration details will be disclosed to all candidates under consideration.
The successful candidate will possess the following:
• Chartered Professional Accountant designation (CPA-CA or CPA) designated at a major public accounting firm
• 6+ years of progressive reporting or related experience
• Experience coaching and developing others
• Strong technical skills under IFRS and/or US GAAP
• Knowledge of large-scale consolidations would be an asset
