Job description

The Saskatchewan Land Surveyors Association (SLSA) administers & regulates the practice of land surveying for the protection of the public throughout the province. It establishes minimum standards for admission to and practice of the profession, as well as continuing education. SLSA is governed by legislation, bylaws, professional standards, ethics, and an elected Council.  
SLSA is seeking an experienced individual for the role of Executive Director & Registrar, responsible to the membership through the SLSA Council.
This position is responsible for both executive & administrative services, 30 hours per week on a contract basis. The administrative portion of the position may be sub-contracted by the Executive Director & Registrar, at their expense, to an Executive Assistant.
We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual with experience in office administration, finance, information management, program development, and public relations.  
Contracted services to include: secretary to Council & committees; recruitment, training, and supervision of the Executive Assistant if required; office administration; financial activities; record keeping; adherence with policies and procedures; Public information services; member registration, licensing, & services; communication & website maintenance; annual meetings & education seminars; exam processes.
The annual contract amount will be between $60,000 and $65,000 and based on a 30-hour work week with a provision for annual cost-of living adjustment
This position can work from home or in the SLSA office, which is presently located in Regina. The office could relocate anywhere in SK for the right candidate.
Applicants must be prepared to commit to a minimum, renewable 5 year contract with provisions for holiday leave.
