Job description

We are currently looking for a millwright to join a manufacturing facility in Guelph.

Role: Industrial Millwright
Tickets: 433a
Shift: Sunday to Thursday 11pm to 7am
OT is over 40 hours.
Starting wage: $40.84 plus $1.00 shift premium

In order to be considered for this role you must have at least 2 years of work history in a manufacturing industry (preferably in automotive, cranes or steel), have completed an apprenticeship and currently have hold a 433a ticket.

Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain maintenance standards and develop and recommend maintenance programs
- Install new equipment using outside services if required
- Maintain the equipment and facility through preventive/predictive maintenance program
- Consults the work orders and personal log book for jobs to be done
- Understand the amount of time that particular jobs require
- Perform troubleshooting skills and repair using the most expedient and thorough methods

Qualifications
- Certificate of qualifications or certificate in a related field or equivalent working experience (millwright preferred)
- Basic welding skill for millwright (Mig, Stick, Brazing)
- Ability to effectively interact and troubleshoot issues with machine controllers including Fanuc, Siemens, ABB, Omron, Allen Bradley
- At least 2 years of experience working in a similar role
