We are looking for a Residential Counsellor Summer Student!
Join us at Dilico! The Dilico Integrated Model of Care brings together a wide range of services and programs to support children, youth, and families to live their good life – physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. We offer services, rooted in culture, that address diverse issues related to child welfare, mental health & addictions, and primary health. Our Student Placement program welcomes students from a variety of different university and college programs to gain valuable experience and skills with us.
Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Family Healing Manager or designate, the Residential Counsellor will ensure the treatment needs of clients in care are met by actively participating in the provision of treatment services in residential family facility. The primary responsibility is to provide individual and group-based treatment services that are consistent with the Vision, Mission and Core Values established by Dilico Anishinabek Family Care.
