Job description
Looking for a permanent warehouse worker job close to home in Pointe-Claire? Are you someone who enjoys doing a variety of different tasks in your day to day? Do you have any experience with machine operation and picking and packing? Do you enjoy working independently?
Our client in Pointe-Claire in the duct manufacturing sector is looking for a hands on warehouse worker to join their growing team. As a warehouse worker, you will have the chance to work in all sections of the warehouse - production, insulation, and shipping. The warehouse worker is responsible for operating 5 different machines to produce hoses and panels for ducts, insulate the product and kit it to send out to the client. Forklift counterbalance training will be provided on site, but prior experience is an asset. The warehouse worker will work day shifts, and be paid between $18 to $20 an hour. This is a permanent position with benefits.

Responsibilities
Feed machines with aluminum or stainless steel
Operate different machines to make either panels or tubing for ducts and HVAC's
Fill tubing and ducts with pink insulation
Prepare kits of product to ship out to customers
Pick and pack items
Keep workplace tidy
Operate a forklift counterbalance and order picker
Qualifications
Bilingual
Previous experience with machine operation or mechanically inclined
Previous experience driving a forklift counterbalance an asset
Must be able to work independently and autonomously
Must be able to take initiative and plan out tasks for the day depending on production goals.
Must be comfortable handling fibreglass insulation
