Software Sales Representative (Remote)

Job description
Our client has been in the business of content protection and digital rights management (DRM) for over 17 years, and in that time, they have built long lasting relationships and can truly say they are the experts in DRM. They understand the need to protect their client’s content. They take pride in knowing they can provide the right content protection and DRM solutions to allow their clients to thrive with their content. They are looking for a Software Sales Representative to work remotely on inbound sales leads who is driven, motivated and diligent for sales hunting.
Responsibilities:
- Building a high-quality, well-qualified pipeline of deal opportunities
- Following up and qualifying inbound sales leads
- Moving deals through the sales stages and, ultimately, closing deals and winning new business
- Conducting online meetings and software demos with prospects
- Educating prospects on the value of the compny’s software solutions
- Leveraging the company’s CRM (HubSpot), LinkedIn, and other sources to help generate leads
- Making outbound sales calls into targeted lists, supported by marketing efforts
- Tracking all lead activity and deal information in the company’s CRM system, HubSpot
- Providing feedback to, and work collaboratively with, the marketing team about campaigns or programs
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary degree in business administration, communications, or equivalent
- 3-5 years of sales experience, preferably selling software or technology-related products
- Strong sales hunting ability with a drive to close business
- Strong cognitive thinking ability
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficient with (or quick to learn) software programs
- Experience using CRM systems
- Experience using Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to multi-task and work under tight timelines
- Self-starter with a positive, can-do attitude
- Must live in the Lower Mainland
