Job description

Position: Club Coordinator
(As this position is funded by Canada Summer Jobs the applicant must be between the age of 15-30)
Terms: Seasonal (minimum 20 weeks of employment)
• April 15th to August 30th
• Hours: 20/week (April), 30/week (May-August)
• Standard Hours: mid-afternoon to evening with weekend work required.
Work Location:
• (April Only) Remote if not in residing in East Gwillimbury,
• Sharon (and various locations in East Gwillimbury throughout May, June, July, August)
Summary:
The East Gwillimbury Soccer Club promotes and develops the game of soccer within the community of East
Gwillimbury to help individuals develop their character as resourceful and responsible members of the community.
We are currently seeking a Club Coordinator to assist in the daily administrative activities of the Club. The Club
Coordinator will be responsible for undertaking tasks or needs that as directed by the General Manager. The Club
Coordinator will assist in developing, organizing, and managing all programs operated by the club. Including, but
not limited to, match officials, coach development, youth and adult programs, community engagement.

Direct Reports: General Manager
Other Reports: Board of Directors
Key Areas of Responsibility:
1. Provide administrative support and leadership to the Match Official Program.
2. Provide administrative support and leadership to the Youth Recreational Program.
3. Provide administrative support and leadership to the Adult League Program.
Other Areas of Responsibility:
• Assist in the development, organization, and administration, of the day-to-day Club activities.
• Provide support in the development, organization, administration of all Club special projects and events.
• Drive member engagement utilizing both traditional platforms and new social media platforms.
Qualifications: (As this position is funded by Canada Summer Jobs the applicant must be between the age of 15-30)
• Progressive experience in program planning, program development, and program implementation
• Experience in supervision, scheduling, and leading employees
• Knowledge of soccer in Ontario, with specific knowledge of technical and match official programming
being considered an asset.
• Some experience teaching soccer programs, coaching soccer or experience interacting with a wide variety
of ages is an asset.
• Demonstrated use of computer skills, social media channels, and computer illustrative programming.
