Program Manager/Change Manager (Contract Position)

Number of Positions: 1 Filled: 0 Duration: 10 months

Location: Mississauga, ON, CA

Must be eligible to work in Canada

Hybrid position 2-3days / week onsite mandatory


Roles and responsibilities:

Title: Program Manager/Change Manager

The client's Strategic Category Management team exists to support the merchandising organizations by Equipping merchants with advanced assortment building capabilities, cost saving analytics, and tailored insights for their businesses. As part of this work, we’re seeking entrepreneurial

individuals to help drive a brand-new initiative, Luminate, from concept to deployment. We are looking for an Merchandising Success Lead who will be central to the continued growth, efficiency, and success of the client's Luminate. This role requires an exceptional individual who is intellectually curious, enthusiastic, a problem solver, detail- oriented, and a self-starter. The role will have broad exposure across product, engineering, operations, sales, marketing and finance teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human resources and project management, with some experience with data analytics.


Responsibilities:

· General project management duties and responsibilities, project planning,

scheduling, creating project charter and scope etc.

· Defining and documenting the objectives of the individual work streams

· Preparing or creating charts, and/ or diagrams as it relates to the project

· Conducting and facilitating meetings with business/operational and other team

members involved in the project

· Collaborate with various cross functional leadership teams to develop and promote seamless onboarding procedure

· Define frameworks and execute program roadmaps and schedules for multiple workstreams

· Identify and manage critical path workflows and cross-functional dependencies; collect and analyze metrics to manage initiatives

· Escalate and communicate program related issues to mitigate risks

· Own and drive all merchandising core meetings for Luminate

· Evaluate the effectiveness of as signed programs and initiatives to improve efficiency and cost- effectiveness with participating stakeholders and team

· Support development of executive level presentations and perspectives

· Support overall team in managing day-to-day operating activities and special projects as needed


Qualifications:

· 6+ years of Project Management experience·

· Strong ability to understand merchandising operations, floorplans and change impact on other cross functional groups

· Ability to be organized and think systematically in order to plan and execute

projects with multiple priorities and interdependencies between work streams

· Experience with project planning, process design and implementation experience

· Must be able to build strong working relationships with various stakeholders.

· Responsible for detailed project plan- including financial spreadsheets involving

business cases and project risk assessment.

· Work within cross functional teams of business, and operational environment

· Reports progress of the projects on the ongoing basis

· Attendant/or facilitate daily, weekly meetings with team members, business

users, stakeholders, operational teams etc.

· Experience with any of the PM tools: MS project, MS Visio or related tools

· Experience successfully applying Business Process Management, Six Sigma, or

Lean concepts.

· Experience managing in-store retail projects will be an added benefit

· Possess strong communication skills- both verbal and written
