Job description

Responsibilities of the Service Broker will include but not limited to:

• Provide friendly, professional service at all times.
• Assess risks, calculate premiums, bind coverage and prepare documentation.
• Process renewals and endorsements.
• Process quotes for auto and property insurance.
• Apply changes to existing policies.
• Anticipate clients' insurance needs, such as policy renewals.
• Develop and maintain relationships with underwriters.
• Research insurance companies' policies and negotiate with underwriters to find the most suitable insurance for clients at the best price.
• Stay current with changes in the insurance market and in the clients' industries.
• Provide claims assistance.
• Win accounts against competitors.
• Provide assistance with payment issues.
• Achieve monthly targets and goals.
• Work as a team to answer client phone calls and emails in a timely manner.
