Position: Sr Manager, Vendor Management
Location: Toronto, ON
Shift/Core Hours: 37.5 hr work week. Hybrid work model (3 days a week at the office)
Full Time Direct Hire

What is the scope of the project?
- The execution of bank’s programs (i.e., Vendor Governance, Vendor Onboarding, and Vendor Performance) to meet OSFI requirements
- Working across key supplier relationships overseeing the compliance of the vendors with the Bank policies and regulators guidelines
- Managing Vendor Relationships
What are they going to accomplish on a high level?
- Ensure that the risk of the vendors and suppliers is properly controlled and managed (Printing vendor, Card manufacturer, Canada Post, Managing fleet - 60 vehicles for sales people)
Day to day what are the responsibilities?
- Ensure success of the bank's Vendor Governance Program, managing relationships with various vendors.
- Implement standardized practices, performance scorecards, and risk management.
- Lead cross-functional teams, support policy development, and oversee reporting deadlines.
- Conduct contract reviews, manage onboarding, and reduce the supply base through rationalization.
- Develop expense models, budgets, and provide training on Vendor Governance program.
- Oversee internal & external parties’ activities to control production quality and service level agreement for the outsourced business processes.
- Manage and analyze all production to recommend process improvement initiatives to augment productivity and reduce operational costs.
- Manage accounts payable process.
- Develop and review RFP for potential vendors.
- Manage of daily operations activities for Credit cards and Personal Loans.
- Solve operational issues.
- Manage vendor relationship.
- Leading projects for all company’s processes
Must-haves/key skills needed
- Relevant experience (banking industry/ regulated/ pharma experience)
- Knowledge of financial services operating model and Third-Party Management lifecycle
- Vendor Governance experience in banking industry and OSFI guidelines
- Lean Six Sigma certification
- Experience managing people (2-3 members)
- Excel spreadsheets (vlookups, IF function and pivot tables) Please verify this
