Your new role
As a Designer you will be working on modelling and drawing production under the guidance of the Design Lead and the Architectural Consultant. The main responsibilities are:
- Preparing and reviewing Revit drawings and documents.
- Coordinating and communicating with project team and consultants.
- Researching and applying materials, systems, and codes.
- Solving technical design challenges and ensuring quality standards.
- Producing and presenting visualization material as needed.
- Visiting job sites and collecting data for design and implementation.
- Performing contract administration duties and working well with others.
What you'll need to succeed
- A minimum of 5-8 years of multifamily building design or relevant Canadian work experience with a strong knowledge of building systems, building envelope and construction detailing.
- Completed a certified Building Technology or Architectural program in a professionally recognized institution.
- Strong working knowledge of Revit, BIM360, & AutoCAD.
- Experience working with wood framed multifamily & mixed-use projects is preferable.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of local bylaws and building codes.
- Strong understanding of construction principles and building envelope.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively work with clients and project teams.
- Be highly organized and enjoy managing multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
What you'll get in return
In exchange for your hard work and commitment, you will receive a comprehensive compensation package including a competitive base salary ($65,000 - $80,000).
