The Water Science and Technology Directorate of STB is seeking a Director who will oversee the operations of the Environmental Science and Technology Laboratories Division. This includes responsibility for a 200+ employee organization from coast to coast, charged with delivering analytical laboratory services and operational field support to a wide range of internal and external clients, as well as providing scientific support replated to environmental emergency planning, preparedness and response.

Intent of the process

The process aims to staff one indeterminate Director position in Burlington, Ontario, with responsibility for the operations and management of the Environmental Science and Technology Laboratories Division. The duties of the position will have to be performed in Burlington, financial support for relocation will be available if required.

The process could also be used to create a pool of fully and/or partially qualified candidates for future needs at ECCC.
