Job description
We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Diesel Mechanic with a 310S or 310T certification to join our team. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on diesel engines and related equipment. You must be able to diagnose and troubleshoot engine problems, as well as carry out necessary repairs and replacements of parts.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines and related equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot engine problems, and carry out necessary repairs and replacements of parts.
- Perform inspections of diesel engines to identify any issues and prevent problems from occurring.
- Keep accurate records of all work performed, including parts used and hours worked.
- Conduct tests on engines to ensure they are operating efficiently and effectively.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, and ensure all safety protocols are followed.
- Communicate effectively with team members, management, and customers regarding job progress and any issues that arise.
Requirements:
- 310S or 310T certification.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines and related equipment.
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot engine problems.
- Proficient with hand and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
