Job Responsibilities
- MUST be RIBO licensed
- Provide exceptional customer service by following procedures and protocols in a fast paced work environment
- Effective communicator, able to work through situations with clients and co-workers
- Assess commercial insurance needs through policy reviews and make recommendations for existing clients
- Order reports to confirm driving records (Autoplus and MVR) reports
- Estimate and prepare fully completed applications for commercial auto insurance
- Completing and sending submissions to various insurance companies
- Follow up with various insurance company on new submissions
- Complete policy changes on various insurance company portals, while speaking with the clients on the phone or in the office
- Communicate with insurance companies regarding underwriting requirements
- Review policy renewals for accuracy, proper rating/coverage and complete renewal letters with recommendations when necessary or complete market search if required for remarketing
- Take claims from clients and report to insurance companies and follow guidelines for client follow-up
- Follow up with clients regarding registered letter cancellations and returned payments
- Upsell and cross sell where appropriate
- Able to prioritize and manage workload and adapt to changing environments
- Proficient with SigXP, COM XP, Compuquote/Applied Rating, Word and Outlook
- Licensed minimum of 3 years is preferred
