Job description

Title: Accounting Technician
Salary: 65-70K + benefits
Location: Vaudreuil-Dorion, Qc
Flexible, hybrid schedule

Our client is looking for an accounting technician to join a dynamic team in Vaudreuil!

Responsibilities

1. Day to Day Oversight and Administration of Accounts Receivables Process
3. Oversight of the Internal Controls Process and Ensuring they are respected.
4. Identifying and Resolving Major Budget Discrepancies and Escalations in Coordination with the Logistics Team and Accounts Payable Clerk.
5. Entering Business Partners in SAP
6. Oversight and Administration of AP Debit Notes and AR Credit Notes
7. Executing Payments and Financial Transactions through Various Financial Partners
8. Verifying and Confirming Bank Details with Vendors and Customers
9. General Administration of Month-End Processes: Bank and Credit Card Reconciliations, Accrued Liabilities, Prepaid Expenses, Gross Profit Analysis, Trader Bonuses

10. Day to Day Administration of the Accounts Payable Clerk and their growth and development.
11. Executing various reporting and special projects at the request of the Controller and Upper Management.

Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar position;
- College education or studies in administration is an asset;
- Bilingualism in French and English
