What you’ll do
It’s safe to say, there’s no shortage of variety in what we do. Here are some key accountabilities of the role:
- Responsible for supporting stores that incur maintenance issues with any vendors and for negotiations with vendors regarding all service, pricing or invoice issues, which include the pricing for extra work, price adjustments for unsatisfactory work by the vendor and invoice formatting and reconciliation; while maintaining fair, courteous and productive relationships with all vendors, and reinforcing TJXC positive brand image within the vendor community
- Manages, and develops direct reports, including selecting, training, coaching and mentoring team members; providing advice and guidance to staff members in the resolution of problems; reviewing performance and providing feedback to team
- Responsible for ensuring that all stores receive timely responses to maintenance requests and that work is completed quickly, economically and to desired specifications
- Responsible for development, implementation and administration of all assigned projects/issues from inception to final completion, including all scheduling, preparation of scope of work, costs control, preparation of budgets, tracking and reconciling project expenditures and approval of payments; along with providing information to month and year end requirements
What you’ll need
