Reporting to the Vice President of Finance, the ideal candidate will have a background in private equity investor relations, demonstrating a keen understanding of fund administration and compliance. This individual should be detail-oriented, highly organized, proactive in addressing investor needs with a strong service mindset, and capable of building and maintaining strong client relationships. KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Fund Administration:
Collaborate with internal teams to oversee the administration, allocation and coordination of incoming investor requests
Ensure a smooth and efficient onboarding process for new investors, addressing inquiries related to account setup and documentation. Ensure investor onboarding documents received are accurate and complete.
Liaise directly with investors on acquisition transactions to ensure receipt of all capital commitments and investment related documentation.
Work with the Investor Reporting team on acquisition transactions to provide accurate and timely information for capital commitments and investor details.
Coordinate communication with investors to provide updates on fund performance and address inquiries related to their investments.
Reduce the operational risk to the company by working closely with legal and compliance teams to ensure all investor documentation complies with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Update and maintain accurate information in the CRM and Fund Accounting system.
Coordinate with the Investor Reporting team to administer our Investor Management System, including document uploads, mailing preferences, portal administration and activation.
Provide back up support for the Investor Reporting team.
With a focus on continuous improvement, proactively identify process inefficiencies/errors and work with internal teams to conceive and implement solutions that improve quality and the investor experience.
Investor Engagement and Relationship Management:
Foster strong relationships with investors through regular communication and personalized attention.
Address investor inquiries and concerns promptly, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Maintain a high level of written and verbal communication with investors ensuring accuracy and transparency in communication.
Act as the primary contact for administrative related investor inquiries, providing personalized attention to high-net-worth individuals and wealth managers.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Undergraduate/Bachelor’s degree required.
Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills with the ability to promptly respond to inquiries with clarity.
Demonstrated time-management skills with the ability to effectively prioritize, multi-task and organize work, and meet tight deadlines while paying attention to detail.
Entry-level experience or internship in finance, private equity, or a related field.
Basic understanding of financial products and investment concepts.
Eagerness to learn and contribute within a dynamic team environment.
Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and basic financial software.
