Report into Automation Tech Lead
Responsibilities
Develop automated tests in Unreal and other technologies.
Monitor and improve testing pipelines and tests to ensure performance and reliability.
Investigate, isolate, and debug test runs and failures.
Collaborate with Development, QE, and QA.
Communicate challenges and achievements.
Help guide early testing (Shift-Left) through automation.
Investigate new automated test technologies and techniques.
Qualifications
Technical programming degree/certificate or 1+ year of programing experience.
Understanding of software development processes and best practices.
Understanding of Agile practices.
Understanding of QA and testing methodologies.
Experience with Gaming Engines and Toolsets (Ex: Unreal) - Asset.
Understanding of automated testing, testing patterns, and test optimization - Asset.
Experience participating in any personal video game projects - Asset.
