Job description
Position: Fleet Maintenance Manager, Permanent - Full Time
Responsibilities: Oversee Fleet, Facilities and Maintenance Inventory within a multi-faceted fast-paced Annapolis Valley business.
• Fleet Maintenance – Heavy Industrial Equipment, Commercial truck, and trailer • Liaise with management to ensure a smooth flow of communication during repairs or maintenance work • Ensure timely maintenance is completed • Inventory Management o Ordering of job-specific parts o Ordering and maintain an accurate inventory • Oversee Facilities Management • Preventative Maintenance scheduling – grease, oil, etc. • Coordinate overhaul and rebuild activities • Quality Control • Work Scheduling/planning • Tire Maintenance
Qualifications:
1. Candidate should have a minimum of 5 years experience in maintenance management 2. Candidate should have strong written and oral communication skills 3. The self-motivated, highly organized candidate should be able to equally perform alone and in a team environment 4. Candidate should have strong computer skills and a good memory 5. Experience in fleet maintenance systems would be an asset 6. Preference will be given to candidates with mechanics licensing
