Transdev Canada is hiring part-time relief/weekend supervisors for our Regina, SK location.

We are offering competitive hourly pay of $25.45!

Your role:

The supervisor shall be responsible for:

• Monitoring the radio when its Operators are driving Vehicles at all times.
• Attending to Passenger and Operator incidents and Accidents; road supervision.
• Supervision of all vehicle operators through effective coaching and mentoring.
• Leadership to build and maintain a strong team through effective communication, appraisal, training, and coaching.
• Performs vehicle operator safety evaluation ride checks, accident/incident investigations, and responds to situations, helps resolve operational issues and assists with transit passengers as necessary.
• Drives routes when necessary.
• Other duties as required

All Contractor supervisory staff must complete the full 120 hours of Operator training including the Q’Straint Securement 101 training.

Your profile:

• You have a valid Class 4 valid Drivers License.
• You have a high school diploma, GED or equivalent.
• 2 or more years of relevant coaching experience is a plus
• 2 or more years of relevant driving experience is a plus
• You have excellent communication skills with the ability to read maps, interpret transit operating rules and policies.
• You have an understanding of The Collective Bargaining Agreement, the Paratransit Agreement, Paratransit Policy & Procedure Guide, SOP’s, Saskatchewan Employment Act, National Safety Code, the Commercial Vehicles Hours of Service Regulations, and the Saskatchewan Driver’s Handbook.
• You are able to pass a drug test.

Your location:

Work schedule (minimum of 22 hours per week)

• Week 1 -Saturday Night-15:15-24:00
• Week 2-Saturday Day-6:30-15:15
• Week 2-Sunday-7:30-21:30
• STATS-6:45-13:15 Or 13:00-19:30
• 4 weeks per year to cover weekday daytime supervision and 4 weeks per year to cover weekday night supervisio n.
