Job description

Adecco is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Project Coordinator to oversee our client's Commercial & Multi-family construction projects. Our client is Canada’s one of top general contracting companies based out of Niagara.

Our client, one of Ontario's top general contracting companies, is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to oversee their Commercial/Institutional construction projects in the Niagara region.

As a Project Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the successful execution of commercial construction projects. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with a strong background in project coordination within the commercial construction sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Planning and Coordination:

    • Collaborate with project managers to develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets.

    • Coordinate project activities, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.

    • Assist in the development and implementation of project strategies.

  2. Communication and Collaboration:

    • Serve as a liaison between project stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.

    • Facilitate regular project meetings and communicate project updates to relevant stakeholders.

    • Foster a collaborative environment to ensure effective teamwork and project success.

  3. Documentation and Reporting:

    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.

    • Prepare and distribute reports summarizing project status, milestones, and potential risks.

    • Assist in the preparation of project proposals and presentations.

  4. Quality Control:

    • Monitor and enforce adherence to quality and safety standards on construction sites.

    • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications.

  5. Resource Management:

    • Assist in the allocation of resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials.

    • Track resource utilization and report any potential issues or bottlenecks.
