What you will do
The Transition Manager II will be responsible for managing the Mobilization efforts during the construction phase, Warranty Program during the post-construction phase, and providing general support to Operations as new projects are onboarded to ensure we meet and are compliant with contractual obligations.How you will do it
Mobilization / Transition Management:Able to manage multiple projects concurrently
Review Project Contracts and Identify deliverables
Create Contract Compliance Workbooks tracking deliverables by party and delivery time (MS Excel)Build Transitions Schedules that are compliant with contracts (MS Project)Chair and Coordinate Transition Schedule Review Meetings with site teams, management and SMEsRegularly review Transition Schedule with Site teams to ensure compliance
Update Transition schedules as needed including Design Build milestones, relevant commissioning events and training requirements.Create Monthly Summaries of Transition ScheduleMaintain archive of Transition Schedules and Contract Compliance WorkbooksTrain, support onboarding of new staff
Warranty Management:Able to manage multiple projects concurrently
Review contract and develop Warranty Protocol for Post Construction to be followed by parties that is contract compliant
Coordinate Warranty Protocol Review sessions with Design Builder and relevant parties
Prepare and deliver Warranty Management Presentations to Shareholders (Design Builder, Customer, Project Co/Developer)Compile all relevant Asset Warranty Schedule Data (as provided by Design Builder)After construction is completed plan and chair regular Warranty Management meetings with Operations Teams and Design BuilderPrepare and track all active Warranty Service Events as they occur and communicate with parties if KPI deadlines are approaching to avoid risk. Assist relevant parties with relief and extension requests to CustomerReview monthly PARs and maintain records of Warranty Related Deductions. Prepare post-warranty review including number of warranty events, breakdown by asset types and areas, with summary outlining overall savings.
What we look for7 years experience in facility management and operations discipline including planning and scheduling, subcontractor management, project management5 years experience in P3 account transition or operations management
High proficiency in MS Project, Smartsheet and CMMS applications
Demonstrated customer service orientation with excellent written and oral communication skills
Thorough knowledge of a wide area of P3 FM/O&M Business, business systems and infrastructures
Ability to plan and execute projects and a high degree of effectiveness in team leadership
Occasional travel (10%) required
