The Assistant Store Manager at Coach demonstrates a high level of business acumen; delivering sales results through employee development and mentorship. Sample of tasks required of role:

Visual Merchandising Manager

The Visual and Product role ensures customer focus and service on the sales floor by making certain that visual standards and product management standards are upheld. The role maximizes productivity and profitability by demonstrating organizational skills, ensuring tasks are accomplished to timelines, compile of information from product reports and understands how these directly influence the business and the selling and service levels. It is imperative that the person responsible for the Visual and Product DOR assist with the training and development of the staff in the area, as well as lead by example.

· Develops and manages all aspects of visual presentation and brand standards ensuring growth across all categories and partners with General Manager in support of their individual initiatives and needs

· Complete Staff schedules weekly

Specific Responsibilities:

· Mapping of floorsets, utilize visual guidelines and create store specific solutions, complete walk through with GM / SM

· Ensure all floorsets are completed by the deadline and compliant to all visual standards consistently

· Manage and follow up on price changes and signage Ensure store is clean, organized, and visually compliant at all timese Walk new associates through visual standards. Introduce Visual Standards Manual

· Work with Operations DOR to ensure store maintenance

· Oversee and utilize product reports to understand selling trends and lead management meeting

discussions

· Analyze merchandise reports to identify top selling styles and sales opportunities

· Ensure all props are organized and maintained

· Oversee allocation requests with GM / SM and communicate needs appropriately through MM

Additional Requirements:
Experience: 1 to 3 years of previous management experience in a luxury retail service environment preferable. Possess current knowledge of fashion trends and competition in the marketplace.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
Technical: Proficient with MS Office (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook). Experience using retail systems (i.e. labor management, inventory systems, sales reporting, etc.)
Physical: Ability to execute at a fast pace. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team. Ability to maneuver the sales floor, sales shelves, and stock room; climbing, bending, and kneeling are required. Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and, at times, lift and carry product/cartons up to 50 pounds to process product shipment/transfers
Schedule: Ability to meet Coach Scheduling & Availability Expectations, including ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays high retail traffic and sales days (including but not limited to the day after Thanksgiving, Memorial Day, Christmas Eve, Mother’s Day, etc.).
