Job description
Working under the direction of the Summer Program Coordinator, the Day Camp Counsellors will support the Camp Wanago summer day camp and occasionally other recreational programs offered by the Recreation department. The responsibilities will include general supervision of children and the facilitation of activities including crafts, games, sports and day trips, all while maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone. This position will be required to assist with general set-up and cleanup of programs spaces, and ensuring they are safe and tidy. Previous experience working with children and CPR/First Aid training are an asset.
Term:June to August - 10 week term
Schedule:40 hours per week - Monday to Friday
Compensation:$16.80 per hour
Education:Enrollment in College/University
