Position Summary

In accordance with established vision and values of the organization, assists and transports patients including deceased patients, their personal belongings, equipment, specimens and supplies to and from various locations within the hospital in accordance with hospital and Northern Health policies and procedures. Reports to the professional staff patient observations and interactions, as appropriate. Performs clerical, cleaning and tidying duties
GR Baker Memorial Hospital is a full care hospital with 27 Acute Care beds, 4 ICU beds and 5 crisis stabilization beds

Qualifications
- Grade 10 plus one years’ recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Skills and Abilities: - Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to deal with others effectively.
- Ability to organize work.
- Ability to operate related equipment.
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
