Come work as a Nurse Practitioner with Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH)!

 

Nurse Practitioners in the Personal Support and Stabilization (PSS) team are the medical leaders that provide medical care through a consultative lens to house bound frail patients recently discharged from hospital. The NP works within an interdisciplinary team of re-ablement providers: Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Rehabilitation Assistants, Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses.

 

Nurse Practitioners at VCH are privileged and members of Medical Staff. We believe in sustainable and exciting NP positions, and your FTE is flexible to allow providers to diversify their practices.

 

VCH is pleased to announce we will now reimburse Nurse Practitioners (NPs) for the cost of the Objective Structured Clinical Exam (OSCE), upon successful completion, for NP candidates who have not yet completed the exam, and who are hired into a regular or temporary position with VCH. The OSCE reimbursement is in the form of a forgivable loan, which is forgiven after one (1) year of continuous employment in a regular or temporary position with VCH.

As per the current Public Health Orders, as of October 5, 2023, all employees working for Vancouver Coastal Health must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 or have received a single dose of the most-recent, updated COVID-19 vaccine. Proof of vaccination status will be required.
