JOB SUMMARY

The Scheduler/Planner is responsible for organizing and coordinating all aspects of the assigned project(s). He/she shall report to the Project Manager and is responsible for working closely with the operations group on planning, scheduling, forecasting, and schedule risk management. The Scheduler/Planner serves as Centurion’s representative on the project and shall protect and promote Centurion’s interests in all matters and to do whatever is reasonably necessary to execute his/her duties.

OBJECTIVES and RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide analysis of schedule data to identify key project issues.
• Assist in coordinating schedule inputs from all parts of the project.
• Identify and analyze schedule variances and recommend associated corrective actions.
• Update the project schedule as per the recommendations of the project team.
• Maintain Manpower Histograms, S curve and Commodities curves.

REQUIRED SKILLS and PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Excellent knowledge of project planning and scheduling.
• A minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in the Alberta energy, industrial construction and/or oil and gas industries is required.
• Excellent time management, prioritization, and organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail and sound judgment skills
• Advanced computer skills including Microsoft word, Excel, and scheduling software (MS Projects, P6, Excel)
• All candidates are required to successfully complete pre-employment drug and alcohol screenings, which includes testing for marijuana
• Must be fit-for-duty
• Able to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
• Must be immediately eligible/able to work in Canada.
• Must be able to provide clean Canadian criminal record check. (Within 30 Days)

TRAVEL & SCHEDULE

• Willing to stay in camp accommodations.
• Willing to travel.
