The role:
We are currently seeking a skilled Administrative Assistant to manage patient operations in our fast-paced environment. This key role involves a range of responsibilities, including patient onboarding, prescription management, and ensuring efficient treatment dispensation for 300-500 patients monthly.
Responsibilities:
- Smoothly onboard patients, ensuring complete profiles and labwork requisitions.
- Manage prescription renewals and timely filling for our patients.
- Act as a key communicator among patients, healthcare providers, and pharmacy services.
- Skillfully handle technology tools like Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, and Microsoft Excel.
- Uphold patient confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Manage day-to-day clinic operations, including answering calls with proper etiquette.
- Schedule appointments between doctors and patients.
- Maintain professionalism and courtesy in the office environment.
- Scan and file reports into patients' charts and keep them updated.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Required: Minimum 2 years of experience in a high-volume medical office.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
Desirable:
- Familiarity with office productivity software Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, and Microsoft Excel.
- Interest or prior experience in digital health
- Experience in a pharmacy setting.
- A diploma in Medical Administration or a university degree (advantageous but not required).
