Reporting to, and under the direction of, the Supervisor of Operations (Roads or Storm Water Management), the Summer Student – Roads may be responsible for some or all of the following:

What We Offer You

$19.25 to $21.42 per hour

*The Town is currently undertaking an extensive job evaluation review for CUPE positions.  The salaries and job responsibilities for all part-time unionized postings are being considered under review until the results and ratings for these positions are finalized and shared.  Please be aware that salaries and job responsibilities may be impacted by this review.

Eligibility Requirements:

Students must be currently enrolled in and attending a post-secondary institution on a  full-time basis (students will be required to provide proof) for the 2023/2024 school year and be returning to a post-secondary institution on a full-time basis in September 2024;

Students selected must be available to commence summer employment as early as May 6, 2024 and commit to working through to, and including, August 30, 2024.
