Description
Silverline Construction Ltd. is a general contractor specializing in commercial, agricultural and industrial construction.
We work primarily with steel buildings but also do renovations and other types of new builds.
Your Duties will include but not be limited to:
Oversee and assist in the daily workflow of the site.
Coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans
Produce schedules and monitor attendance of crew
Plan and direct all construction activities from start to move-in.
Ensure manpower and resources are adequate
Supervise and train workers / crew
Safety: responsible for on-site implementation and management of Company safety program, to include inspections, documentation, and reporting.
Hold weekly crew safety meetings (Toolbox Talks) to make sure all employees are engaged in conversation
Allocate general and daily responsibilities
Management of subcontractors: to include scheduling, inspection, quality control, and approval of work.
Materials management: to include scheduling and checking deliveries, correcting take offs, and insuring proper installation.
Project maintenance: monitors job-site cleanliness and holds subcontractors responsible for daily clean up.
Supervise the use of machinery and equipment
Interpret plans, blueprints, and sketches
Resolve problems when they arise
Report on progress to managers, engineers etc.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
