What you will do

The area sales support specialist will be the primary internal point of contact responsible for supporting the Fire sales team with sales administrative tasks and some customer facing tasks. This person will work closely with the sales, centralized bookings, and cash collections teams to support first pass yield bookings, support the Delegation of Authority process (including legal) and bookings Service and Install. This position is vital as it will support the contract booking process and will be the first line of review and approval for contracts.

How you will do it

Will be the initial reviewer for customer and sales data within Oracle to ensure customer and billing information is correct before contract booking. This position requires the verification and submission of customer master changes into the Casewise workflow. As part of the customer and contract review process, will update and correct any current contracts or customer numbers that need action.

Will provide the 1st level of support (review) for contract booking. This will include contract review and preparation of and the delivery of amendment letters to the customer. Will work directly with the customer as the 1st level of support for approval.

This will also include ensuring contracts are compliant for payment terms and conditions and submitting any contracts to our legal portal for higher review and the appropriate Delegation of Authority. Work with the sales team and the Centralized booking to obtain and submit customers’ credit applications. Provide Certificates of insurance and additional initial documentation for contracting.

When needed, respond to Owner-controlled insurance program/Contractor-controlled insurance program requests and enrollment when required at booking. Also, when needed, support requests for bid and performance & payment bonds, as well as bonds required for various licenses. Assist with compiling information for quotations.

Manage contracts through the booking process by working with the sales team, district managers, and centralized booking. This includes working closely with our compliance team for government contracts. Create/Manage Opportunity and QuotesManage Pre-Bid approvals

Manage Customer engagement/signatures

Help Prepare all necessary project documentation/contract

Coordinate with the Sales Support Specialist through DOA approvals and booking

What we look forRequiredHigh School Diploma or equivalent

Contract negotiation experience +2 years

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multitasking and prioritization in a dynamic fast-paced environment

Strong customer service skills

Experience with research and maintaining databases.Proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel, and OutlookExperience in using CRM.Learning AgilityAbility to work independently and with a team.PreferredParalegal2 + years of experience in Oracle and SalesforceOrder Management experience
