Job description
Kelly Services is currently recruiting for a Direct Hire Perm Opportunity for Sales Assistant for a client in Ayr, Ontario (On site)
In this role, you will sell manufactured components to internal and external customers while providing technical information, support, and service to customers.
- Respond to inbound sales calls from our established customer base for product and pricing information, order status, or delivery confirmation.
- Secure and renew orders and arrange delivery; working closely with our machine shop and other facilities to manufacture and expedite orders.
- Enter orders and quotes and perform quote follow-ups/analyses and follow through with ownership in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Provide technical and non-technical support and services to clients or other staff members regarding the use, operation, and maintenance of equipment.
· Bulk material handling products and systems – application review, technical assistance, design, quotation construction and order entry
- A complete extensive hands-on training program is provided.

Skills/Experience:
- 1-2 years of sales/customer service experience is preferred
- Mechanical aptitude or technical inclination required
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (bilingualism French/English an asset)
