Liebherr-Canada Ltd. seeks a Branch Manager for our new Abbotsford branch. This role involves overseeing the branch's growth and safety, managing day-to-day operations in the workshop, and leading the customer service for the mobile crane division. Responsibilities
Safety & Housekeeping:
- Establish and participate in safety talks.
- Lead workshop safety inspections and implement related safety and housekeeping procedures and regulations.
Workshop and Field Service:
- Plan and manage of workshop technician assignments.
- Plan and manage of Mobile Crane field service technician assignments.
- Manage local parts department regarding requirements for specific jobs, ordering, shipping, freight, parts returns etc.
- Manage accurate and timely preparation of customer quotations, invoice preparation and overall work order administration (includes adding labor, parts, and subcontracting charges etc).
- Manage required branch tools; implement necessary procedures, perform periodic tool and asset count.
- Apply for and maintain status of Designated Inspection Facility license.
Administration:
- Work closely with senior management and develop, implement, and maintain continuous improvements in the branch.
- Proactively develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Work collaboratively with other managers & branches to develop company-wide initiatives that ensure corporate goals are achieved.
- Other duties as assigned.
Competencies
- 5+ years of experience in leadership within a related field.
- Administrative skills in heavy equipment industry, construction or distributor environment.
- MS Office proficiency, service reporting/time entry and invoicing software.
- Methodical, analytical, organized and detail oriented.
- Technical knowledge of heavy equipment, cranes and construction equipment.
- Due diligence and promotion of a Health and Safety culture.
- Dynamic team player with a positive attitude.

- Salary Range: $115,000 - $135,000 annually
