Job description
Our Client is looking for a dynamic, motivated and experienced self-starter to join their commercial insurance team. The role involves managing the client service experience and providing timely, expert insurance advice to clients and prospects. This role places more emphasis on in depth insurance review and analysis than administrative tasks, so previous commercial lines experience is a requirement.
Key Job Responsibilities
Manage the day to day client servicing requirements
Analyze client coverage, exposures and loss experience to determine risk
requirements
Assist with marketing of account and negotiating with underwriters
Responsible for ensuring accuracy in documents and delivery of same
Perform the needed internal support for Producers, Accounting Department and others
Assist with reporting of claims
Keep up to date with markets and changing coverages within the industry
Work with producers on cross selling opportunities
Adherence to internal compliance and workflow
Participate in insurer networking events
Educational and Experience Requirements
CRM, CAIB and CIP designations an asset
Minimum 5 years Commercial Insurance experience
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Great technical and negotiating skills with a strong attention to detail
Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
Able to work confidently in a fast-paced environment
Proficient with Microsoft Office, Outlook
Familiarity with EPIC Broker Management System is an asset
