Requisition Details: Employment Status: Regular, Full-time Program: Information Services Work Schedule: Days Biweekly Hours: 75 On Call: No Job Summary: The Business Systems Analyst, Home Health Applications is responsible for supporting implementation as well as the maintenance of mobile solution, back office applications, integration with other systems and its successful adoption by front line service providers. Key Responsibilities:
- Leads system lifecycle processes for the implementation of a mobile application solution including but not limited to; the gathering of requirements, systems configuration and testing/validation of functions.
- Develops detailed application documentation including; test cases, business process documentation and work breakdown structures.
- Conducts problem-solving and troubleshooting of the scheduling and clinical applications systems interoperability, configurations and user interfaces.
- Acts as a liaison among clients, IS/IT resources, and technical solution providers in order to configure and deliver a system which meets operational needs.
- Considers user/client needs, technical solution providers, and budget to design and deliver solutions throughout the life of a solution which meet user's needs.
- Performs new user account administration, as well as configure and maintain mobile application test environments.
- Participates with other team members to identity and implement business process changes/improvements as well as to identify and implement the change management steps needed within the project.
- Prepares and presents recurring reporting in order to understand the effectiveness of the solution, as well as the level of successful adoption of the mobile application technology.
- Works closely with and provides support to the application trainer throughout implementation of the project.
- Troubleshoots and analyzes issues that staff are having during the adoption of the mobile application, processes, systems or technology in order to identify corrective action.
- Reviews help desk tickets and resolve issues related to Procura/AlayaCare/CellTrak.
- Monitors user entry data and guides data maintenance methods.
- Makes changes and implements system configurations.
- Supports users for organizational changes.
- Conducts on-going reviews of functional specifications and processes, providing recommendations for process/technology improvements in line with current and growing business needs.
- Designs system process and maintains up-to-date documents on current and future developments.
- Produces/reviews functional specifications and processes for enhancements.
- Conducts unit testing and integration testing initiatives with IT/ IS and user community.
- Supports UAT testing and promotion to Production environment.
- Creates & maintains application reports as required by users.
- Develops & maintains detailed application documentation.
- Builds and manages relationships with key stakeholders and proactively manages expectations.
- Actively participates with fellow teammates in improving methods, tools and techniques as well providing, coaching and mentoring in areas of expertise.
- Assists in development of user training documentation as required.
- Participates in gathering client requirements as required. Facilitate meetings and deliver effective presentations as required.

- Works with vendors and outsourced support to identify opportunities for application of existing technological solutions to current issues.
Education, Designations and Experience: - Post-Secondary degree in Computer Science or Business Administration.
- Minimum five (5) years of recent experience in a business system analyst role.
- Superior understanding and minimum of two (2) years of experience with the Android based operating system, mobile device configuration and core mobile applications.
- Previous experience supporting implementation of one (1) or more successful mobile application projects in an environment with >500 staff.
- Understanding of staff scheduling, time management, resource planning and/or workforce management systems
- Experience in a community healthcare setting is an asset.
- Experience with Home Healthcare (Procura/AlayaCare) and /or Mobile Care Delivery Solutions (CellTrak) is preferable.
- Experience with business process redesign and the principles of organizational change management.
Skill Requirements: - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written, verbal and presentation).
- An adept facilitator and competent in relationship building.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively with team members in order to identify business requirements, suitability of application solutions, and change management processes needed to achieve goals.
- Demonstrated ability to write clear requirement statements, test plans, application usage guides and business process documentation.
- Solid analytical problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Advanced skills with MS Office productivity suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and proficient in MS Project.
- Strong organizational skills, including the ability to balance multiple priorities and to manage time effectively.
- Ability to provide end users with options and advise on implementing major/minor/critical enhancements.
- Ability to develop clear and concise documentation that users and other functional consultants/partners/users will be able to utilize.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, time management, decision-making, and influencing skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and application support skills.
Other: - Must have personal vehicle and possess both a current driver's license and proof of vehicle insurance.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
- A current and original copy of a satisfactory Criminal Records Check is required.
- A Vulnerable Sector Search and/or Child Abuse Registry Check may be required.
- Ability to speak French is an asset.
