We are currently looking for a 313A HVAC Technician. This is a field position within our Service Department and classified under UA Local 787 for compensation and benefit package. Servicing commercial customers- rooftop units, air handling unit, make up air units, exhaust systems, duct furnace, unit heaters.
HVAC Technician (313A)
Position Scope:
- Compete general and specific preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment.
- Respond to service calls and troubleshoot to ensure the system is functioning properly following repairs.
- Effectively communicate and update all information regarding job update.
- Provide recommendations and assist with information on quotes.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers.
- Maintain service vehicle inventory and cleanliness.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
- Other duties as required.
Position Requirements:
- Valid 313a license. 4th or 5th year apprentices will be considered.
- Gas Technician license G1 or G2 preferred.
- Valid G drivers license with clean drivers abstract. Ability to park a truck at their residence.
- Experience brazing an asset.
- Good written & verbal communication.
- Strong customer service abilities.
- Ability to use a smart phone & basic computer skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated positive “can-do” attitude.
