TTOC - TEACHER TEACHING ON CALL

Successful candidates will be teaching in a variety of schools and grade levels, supporting learners. After the start date, a teacher hired to a TTOC position can view all internal postings for Term / Continuing positions and has the contractual right to post into vacancies.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor of Education (Elementary / Middle / Secondary) degree, or equivalent training.
• A valid Teacher Regulation Branch Certificate, or in progress
• Ability to understand and effectively carry out general oral and written instructions with minimum supervision.
• Ability to communicate effectively using courtesy and tact in the explanation and exchange of information.
• Ability to determine, judge and select an appropriate course of action within limits of established methods and procedures.
• Physical ability to perform the required duties.

• A copy of the credential received after completing your teaching program
• A copy of your Certificate of Qualification (from the TRB to teach in BC)

PLEASE NOTE

• The starting annual salary for this School Teacher position ranges from $50,000 to $104,000, with placement on the range based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement.
