Our client seeks an experienced Administrative Sales Support Specialist to join their marketing and sales office in St. Catharines, Ontario. In this role, you will play a crucial part in outbound communications, research, and database management, contributing to growth and success while providing essential administrative support.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct research to gather information from the database on new and lapsed customers and contractors.
- Engage with contacts via telephone to gather specific criteria and accurately record information in the database.
- Collaborate with the sales team to meet or exceed the manager's daily, weekly, and monthly "contact" targets.
- Actively participate in sales meetings and strategy sessions to enhance the success of customer contact results.
- Assist in tracking customer orders and proactively follow up directly with customers.
- Assist in preparing documents, reports, and presentations with a keen eye for detail.
- Coordinate with various departments to streamline communication and processes.
Qualities and Attributes:
- Strong administrative skills with at least five years of experience in a similar role.
- Outstanding verbal communication skills combined with active listening abilities.
- Charismatic and Persuasive: Ability to connect with contacts over the phone and influence positively.
