Job description
Our client has a new position in their Programs Department. It requires managing a book of business, assisting Commercial Account Executives along with providing excellent service to clients and liaise with insurance companies.
Key Job Responsibilities
Responsible for handling the day-to-day client file activity on an assigned book of business
Underwrite new and renewal business according to program guidelines and prepare all necessary
insurance and administrative documentation for clients
Oversee endorsement and certificate requests
Ensure policies meet the needs of the clients
Provide exceptional ongoing service to clients
Provide support to new business production and producers where applicable
Negotiate renewals and remarket initiatives
Responsible for accuracy of policy documents and timely delivery of renewals
Claims reporting and resolve claim issues that may arise
Follow up on accounts receivables
Up-sell & cross-sell existing clients
Participate in insurer networking events
Education and Experience RequirementsRIBO License required along with maintenance of continuing education hours
CAIB and/or CIP designations an asset
Minimum 2 years commercial insurance experience
Must possess good all round commercial knowledge and be able to work with minimal supervision
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work in a paperless environment
Great technical and negotiating skills with strong attention to detail
Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
Able to work confidently in a fast-paced environment
Proficient with Microsoft Office, Outlook and EPIC
