Summary:
The Cecilian Chamber Series (CCS) is looking for a Series Administrator to lead and oversee the operational, financial, and technical aspects of the organization. Over the last 14 years the CCS has grown to be a well respected and successful concert series based in Regina, Saskatchewan. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in helping to shape the organization's strategic direction, fostering community engagement, and ensuring the continued success and sustainability of our series.
The Position
The Series Administrator is a part-time contract position.
The Series Administrator will work in collaboration with the Artistic Director in handling administrative and financial tasks as well as to develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives. Responsibilities will also involve work related budgeting, fundraising and grant management.
The Series Administrator will cultivate strong relationships with community partners, donors, sponsors, and patrons to enhance the visibility and impact of the series and spearhead initiatives to expand audience reach.
The Series Administrator will identify and pursue opportunities for strategic partnerships, collaborations, and initiatives that enhance the artistic offerings and educational outreach of the series
The Candidate
The successful candidate for this position will have a passion for classical music and a commitment to advancing the arts and cultural enrichment of the community. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to be a strategic innovative thinker and ability to problem-solve.
Experience in arts administration, nonprofit management or business administration are preferred. Experience working with computer programs and platforms such as Google, the Mailchimp email marketing and Canva as well as social media sites is essential. Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting and fundraising as well as experience working with a board of directors and volunteers is desirable.
Compensation:
Position will require approximately 15 hours per week with compensation to be discussed.
Many aspects of this role can be done on a remote basis however the successful candidate must be based in Regina, Saskatchewan in order to have a presence at CCS events and other community obligations as required.
