Founded in 2016 , Peripass is a logistics SaaS scale-up . Our Yard Management Software enables industrial and logistics companies to smoothly manage the complete flow of trailers rolling on and off their sites , as well as all trailer movements on-site . Building on an already strong revenue basis, our sales and overall company growth is rapidly accelerating. In 2023, we have recently grown to about 50 people and we are planning to grow to over 75 people in 2024 . Some other BIG NEWS , in January 2024 Peripass secured €7.5 million to accelerate its global expansion. The investment will help us to accomplish our mission to digitize & automate logistics. Your responsibilities:
As our Automation Consultant you will investigate & execute all technical (hardware/network/integration) requests from our customers, working closely with the team of Implementation Consultants, Support Team, and the Product Team to escalate issues and improve our product.
- Together with our Implementation Consultants you v alidate the technical analysis in ongoing projects (assist in preparation of installing Peripass onsite, technical workshops client facing IT,…)
- You take ownership of onsite installation planning and execution with clients/installers and perform end-to-end testing
- You are the voice of the customer internally, explaining the Peripass Hardware/Network architecture and requirements
- Acting as the second line contact person in the service desk for customer requests: you analyse, investigate and resolve technical (hardware/integration) issues reported by customers of Peripass .
- You communicate clearly and proactively making sure our customers are continuously aware of the steps we’re taking towards a solution
- You take the lead to continuously expand our help center by writing technical documentation and creating product walkthrough videos

Probably by now, you already have a good idea of who are we looking for, but here are some pointers:
- You have a bachelor degree Computer Science or System/Network Engineering or similar by experience
- You are fluent in English & German . Other languages are a plus too!
- You are capable of configuring and installing hardware components
- Concepts such as SaaS software, integrations, API, networking, have no secrets for you.
- You understand the links between all the software and hardware components , and are capable of setting up and testing all Peripass software flows with the integrated software and hardware components
- You’re an expert in our support tools and processes
- You are customer oriented and are able to communicate clearly via email and phone
- You have an analytical, problem-solving mindset
- You keep your calm and prioritize , even if a customer puts you under pressure or when SLA deadlines need to be achieved
- You build up product knowledge on a daily basis and are keen to develop your technical skill
- You see the importance of Information Security & Cyber Security and you act accordingly. Within Peripass we see these aspects as fundamental to our business, since our software automates critical parts of our clients' logistics processes.
