We are currently looking for a Junior Maintenance Mechanic. This is a field position within our Service Department and will be classified under UA Local 787 for compensation and benefit package. Apprenticeship opportunities are available after completing a minimum of 1 year in this position.

Position Scope:

• Preventative maintenance including condenser power washing, routine filter replacement, belt changes, and cleaning.
• Assist journeyperson with troubleshooting and repairs
• Respond to emergency requests.
• Delivery of parts & equipment.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
• Effectively communicate and update all information regarding job update.
• Maintain service vehicle inventory.

Position Requirements:

• Valid G drivers license with clean drivers abstract. Ability to park a truck at their residence.
• Gas Technician license (G3, G2) an asset.
• Experience brazing an asset.
• Good written & verbal communication.
• Strong customer service abilities.
• Ability to use a smart phone & basic computer skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated positive “can-do” attitude.
