Job description
ICONIX has an immediate opening for an experienced Business Development Manager, HDPE in Ontario . The successful candidate will develop HDPE sales by identifying new sales opportunities and markets for HDPE products, customer relationships, and support existing Account Managers with HDPE sales opportunities and leads.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Establish and develop strong client relationships, providing innovative solutions and advising contractors on installation methods to ensure client satisfaction
- Identify new market opportunities for business growth, keeping abreast of industry trends and customer needs. Provide product training to sales staff ensuring their proficiency in selling HDPE products and act as a technical resource to assist in closing sales
- Collaborate with Account Managers and other members of the ICONIX team to grow municipal, industrial and HDPE sales. This includes providing information, price quotes, processing and completing orders, and efficient delivery
- Provide HDPE quoting services for both large integrated projects and stand-alone HDPE sales
- Meet with Municipalities and Engineering groups to achieve HDPE specification approval, expand available market and ICONIX market share
- Attend and present at trade shows, conventions, and lunch and learns to develop ICONIX brand and expand the customer base as required
- Performing other related duties as required.

- High school diploma
- 5 years' related experience
- Experience in planning and implementing sales strategies
- Experience in customer relationship management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Valid Driver’s License

- Strong strategic thinking skills to make a huge impact on the business
- Ability to organize effectively and delegate responsibilities
