Roles and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, you will be a key player in achieving Transdev’s business objectives. Your responsibilities will include:
Job Description
- Oversees the design, implementation, optimization and management of internal networks and ensure 100% uptime and enhance performance.
- Troubleshoot and promptly resolve complex IT issues, ensuring that any scheduled downtime occurs outside of business hours to minimize impact on operations.
- Conduct regular network maintenance and upgrades to maximize speed and efficiency.
- Installation of software, upgrades and security patches while adhering to our internal patch policies
- Assist with the design and implementation of company's cyber security strategies and policies.
- Assists in the installation, maintenance and support of network security measures to protect data, software and hardware.
- Serves as an escalation point to the IT Helpdesk team for issues related to network, systems and servers.
- Maintains and reviews network and system logs for real-time analysis of performance and possible indicators of compromise (IoC)
- Undertakes IT related projects as assigned.
- Provide a high level of technical support, answering support queries via phone/email//remote assistance/onsite related to informational systems
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's or Technical degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of experience in IT management or a similar role, demonstrating a successful track record in the field.
- Proficiency in network administration, including knowledge of network infrastructure, server setup, and maintenance.
- Expertise in configuring and optimizing both software as a service (SaaS) tools and hardware systems.
- Expertise in hardware configuration and IT network cabling to ensure physical infrastructure is operating smoothly.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities to effectively liaise with team members.
